"Przechadzka" ("A Walk") — an experimental stop-motion art film taking the viewer on a journey through the city of Białystok.
"It is good to treat a walk as a dream." — these words open "Przechadzka", a visual meditation on the city and its atmosphere. The project was developed over the course of a year, during which I captured over 10,000 photographs across approximately 30 walks, later selecting and arranging them into animated sequences.
An original soundtrack and narration in the form of a blank verse poem were created specifically for the film. The absence of any human figures in the footage was a deliberate artistic choice, intended to strengthen the intimate relationship between the viewer and the city itself.
The film was created as part of the "Young Creators" Artistic Scholarship awarded by the Mayor of Białystok.
